As part of our Association’s continuing efforts to promote awareness of policies, programs and regulations which may apply to the local cold chain industry, CCAP will conduct a half- day forum on various topics of interest on September 12, 2018 (Thursday) from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Venue will be at the Luna Room, Mezzanine, World Trade Center, Gil Puyat Avenue Extension corner Diosdado Macapagal Boulevard, Pasay City. The meeting will coincide with the Asia Food Expo (AFEX) at the World Trade Center. Your passes to the expo will be handed to you at the meeting.
To highlight the occasion, we will be joined by the following resource persons to extensively discuss the different subjects that are relevant to cold chain operations and critical in respect of recent developments that may affect our industry, namely:
The Food Safety & Hygiene Academy of the Philippines (FoodSHAP®) is the first educational institution at the forefront of Food Safety Qualification Program development for the food service and retail industry in the Philippines. They are the first food safety certificate program developer in Asia to be fully accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI). They will provide us with an overview of their FOODSHAP® FOOD SAFETY COMPLIANCE OFFICER (FSCO™) program in support of the Food Safety Act of 2013 or RA 10611 in commercial and industrial food handling establishments, e.g., food processing companies, cold storage warehouses, food transport companies, etc.
