As part of our Association’s continuing efforts to promote awareness of policies, programs and regulations which may apply to the local cold chain industry, CCAP will conduct a half- day forum on various topics of interest on September 27, 2018 (Thursday) from12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m. Venue will be at the Dasmarinas Room of the Makati Sports Club, L.P. Leviste Street corner Gallardo, Salcedo Village, Makati City.

To highlight the occasion, we will be joined by the following resource persons to extensively discuss the different subjects that are relevant to cold chain operations and critical in respect of recent developments that may affect our industry, namely:

  1. Dr. ROEHLANO M. BRIONES of the Philippine Institute for Development Studies to share his insights on the current state of affairs in the agri-business sector and its prospective impact on the supply chain industry, specifically on the subjects of TRAIN 2 and the ease of doing business act, among others;

  2. Mr. RAMON C. CASIPLE of the Institute of Political and Electoral Reform to impart his views on the current socio-political environment and its prospective impact on the SME business sector;

  3. PHILIPPINE GUARANTEE AUTHORITY (formerly PhilEXIM) to present their expanded role to include the administration of the Home Guaranty Corporation, Agricultural Guarantee Fund Pool, Industrial Guarantee Loan Fund;

  4. ABOITIZ POWER to provide updates on Retail Competition and Open Access, particularly on the voluntary switching of companies having at least 750kW and the Green Energy Option (GEOp).
