The Cold Chain Association of the Philippines, Inc. (CCAP) is a multi-sectoral grouping of companies and professional organizations involved in the various processes and activities in managing the supply chain for perishable food products.
CCAP will conduct its 13th annual general membership meeting and training conference entitled “Expanding Outreach: Building the Caraga Cold Chain Network” at the Hotel Tavern, Surigao City on June 3 to 6, 2015. This is in line with CCAP’s pursuit of its mission to promote and upgrade operating practices and standards in the cold chain industry.
CCAP is a key partner in the Philippine Cold Chain Project, a 4-year project funded by the USDA Food for Progress Program and implemented by Winrock International which aims to improve production, handling and marketing of high value perishable food products in the entire Caraga Region (XIII).
